What does your dog’s zodiac sign say about the way he plays and the kind of toys he enjoys? According to the astrology charts featured in The Old Farmer’s Almanac that spell out canine personality traits, we’ve hand picked a special toy for each of the 12 signs that we believe will have his tail wagging with delight.

December 22–January 19

Dogs born under this sign are always busy and love to work. They are easy to train, and love having something to keep them occupied and entertained.

The GoFetch ball launcher is great for playing fetch and retrieving balls. This great retrieval toy means no more picking up slobbery balls! Yay! And you can use it with the new Screwballs balls too to add another dimension to the fun as they bounce around unpredictably.

January 20–February 19

Aquarian dogs are strong-willed and, although very intelligent, may not listen the first time. They are inquisitive and love to roam.

The goBone consists of two tennis balls attached to a super tough rubberized bone. Its greats for dogs that love to play tug games and, because of its design, when it’s thrown, it bounces wildly and erratically all over the place. It’s ideal for a dog that loves to test boundaries. And it floats. There is also a glow version for nighttime play.

February 20–March 20

Dogs born under this sign are gentle, kind and sensitive to their environment. They love the idea of having their own bed or favorite snooze zone.

A comfort toy such as goDog skinny dragon will soon become a doggie favorite for curling up with at bedtime as well as for carrying around the house. They are available in fun shades such as bright blue, purple and green with contrasting colored tummies and come in two sizes.

March 21–April 20

Dogs that are born under this sign love going places and exploring. They can be headstrong, pushy, curious, impulsive, and energetic.

The Triflyer is ideal for a curious and energetic pooch. This tough tri-shaped toy is easy for a dog of any age to pick up and carry around. It also has a tennis ball center so is essentially two toys in one. It also floats, ideal for a canine explorer to enjoy.

April 21–May 20

Taurus dogs can be stubborn. They love their comfort, are obsessed with food, very loving and don’t like change in their lives.

A Crazy Tugs monkey with arms and legs that slide up and down when tugged and pulled about will appeal to a dog that likes soft comfort toys as well as a challenge of keeping the status quo as they take charge of their tug toy.

May 21–June 20

Gemini dogs are very intelligent, friendly and playful, and love having lots of toys.

Dogs born under this sign will have a lot of fun with the new RhinoPlay Flip and Vexo  toys – two toys-- after all the Gemini sign represents the twins Castor and Pollux. The toys are made from a non-toxic material called PopFoam© that maintains its shape, is very lightweight but designed to withstand tough play.

June 21–July 22

Cancer dogs are sensitive, extremely loyal and protective of their family members and enjoy being rewarded with treats and food.

The new multi-colored rainbow Furballz will keep them happy. Ideal for indoor play where they can be protective of their new furry friend.

July 23–August 22

Leo dogs are leaders, have lots of energy, and are fiercely protective of their home and their toys.

There is no better toy for the “king of the canine pack” than the RhinoPlay Beast, a self-inflating toy that never goes flat as its filled with non-toxic PopFoam© to maintain its shape. Designed for easy pick up and is available in two sizes so the little beast in your life can have lots of fun too.

August 23–September 22

Dogs born during this time are easy to train, intelligent, discerning, capable, quick to housebreak and enjoy being rewarded for their quick learning skills with new toys.

What better reward than something like a cute HearDoggy! pig, giraffe or gator, designed for silent play with their ultrasonic squeakers that dogs can hear but people can’t!

September 23–October 22

Dogs born under this zodiac sign love to please their favorite people. They will follow you everywhere and love to sleep close to you.

There is nothing better for a Libran dog than an adorable Fuzzy Wuzzy lamb or a sheep designed for easy pickup and filled with lots of squeaky fun.

October 23–November 22

Scorpio dogs are willful, stubborn, and intelligent. They are also mischievous and have an insatiable curiosity.

The Ultimate disc will definitely appeal to a dog with an insatiable curiosity. Throw. Catch. Fetch. Repeat! Its made with a tough Chew Guard inner lining to prevent it tearing and a soft tubing edge for dogs of all ages to easily pick up. Plus its dome shape allows it to double up as a water bowl as all this fun can be thirsty work!

November 23–December 21

The Sagittarian pooch has lots of energy and enjoys a challenge. They are great companions to take hiking. In fact they love to go everywhere and anywhere.

The goDog Winger is a winner for a dog that loves to go places. The handle of the Winger stretches so it acts like a sling slot launching the ball that is part of the toy to really amp up those games of fetch.
